okay but waking up in the middle of the night to soft rain and knowing you’ve got hours to sleep, when you’re toasty warm and comfortable and sleep has made you forget all your worries and you go back to sleep feeling as content as ever.

fukkce:

your speed doesn’t matter, forward is forward

daisyprayers:

Experiencing burnout in an area you love doesn’t mean you are no longer passionate about that thing, or are any less good at it. It’s often an indication that there are other parts of your life that need your care. A garden looks most beautiful when every flower is watered, and you deserve to nourish yourself in the same way. You will flourish again.

mossypositivity:

i take up space and that is okay, because so do the trees and the mushrooms and the moon. and that is okay.

It’s kinda cool how someone can just pop into your life all of a sudden and become so important to you within such a small amount of time. I think that’s what makes life so interesting though. There’s always a reason to be hopeful for the future because you never know what good things will come your way next.

compassionatereminders:

You’ll get more chances. At friendships. At relationships. At job/school related progress. At following your dreams. At chasing your passions. It’s not now or never. There will always be other chances and other opportunities.

compassionatereminders:

“I can’t do this” isn’t always an expression of negativity, insecurity and laziness. Sometimes it’s a conclusion made based on self acceptance, self respect and self awareness. Having limits, being aware of them and respecting them isn’t inherently bad or weak and we need to stop demonizing it.

marewriteblr:

i know posts that are like “it’s okay if you don’t write for a few days” are meant to be positive but honestly……. it’s also okay if you don’t write for weeks. or months. it’s okay if it takes years to get back to writing. i know writing every day, even just 10 words, is a great habit to develop and all, but sometimes you just can’t. whether it’s lack of time or exams or your mental health or whatever, you’re allowed to take a break. no matter for how long. the only one you should be writing for is you, and you’re the one to decide when

compassionatereminders:

You don’t have to limit yourself to liking “cool” things or “mature” things or “adult” things. You’re allowed to find joy in everything you can no matter your age. Don’t ever give up your stuffed animals, your cartoons, your fandoms, your video games, your alternative style or anything else just because people expect you to “grow out of it.” You don’t have to do that. You’re allowed to find joy where you can.

studynostalgic:

let’s treat ourselves more gently. let’s go to bed early. let’s rest when we need to. let’s live life in a way that doesn’t make you feel burnt out after a few weeks. i want us to have fun, to enjoy everyday life, to be present and not to always push ourselves to the last limit. challenge yourself but also treat yourself with love. okay?

moncheriie-deactivated20200814:

a fighter gets tired, too. there are some days where you don’t want to react to anything. days where you don’t have the energy to answer their questions. days where you just want to lay in bed while staring blankly at the ceiling. and it’s okay, it’s okay to rest. you have to accept the fact that you can’t be strong all the time. and no, you don’t have to explain to them because it is your right to do it for yourself. just take your time to breathe and take a break. you’ll regain your strength and you’ll be okay.

human-power:

no shame in doing the same thing over and over if it makes you happy! go and read that book again, listen to that song for the 10000th time, watch that movie over and over. it’s your life babey!

zanabism:

I hope you guys like…eventually live the life you want to live and I hope nothing haunts you for too long and I hope you’re all kind to yourselves

richtide:

it doesn’t matter how good you’re doing, those sad nights will creep up on you from time to time and that’s ok. doesn’t mean all your progress is gone
